Ashburton Carnival 2026: 27th June – 5th July
Ashburton Carnival is an annual community celebration featuring colourful processions, entertainment and family-friendly activities, bringing the town together in a festive atmosphere.

The Ashburton Carnival week runs from June 27 to July 4, 2026, with the theme “Night at the Movies”.
The main procession takes place on Saturday, July 4, starting at 6:00 PM from Glendinning Car Park.

- June 27: Pensioners Coffee Morning (Town Hall, 10 AM – 12 PM)
- June 29: Bingo (Town Hall, 7 PM)
- June 30: Cricket Match (Balland Lane, 6 PM)
- July 1: Quiz Night (Town Hall, 7:30 PM)
- July 2: Fun Run (6:15 PM) & Duck Race (6:30 PM) at Cleder Place
Road Closures: East Street (from Balland Lane) to West Street (up to the Peartree junction) will be closed for the procession on July 4.
