What do you enjoy most about working for Ashburton Town Council?
I love the people. No two days are ever the same, and I really enjoy being part of such a friendly community. It’s a pleasure getting to know residents and working with colleagues and councillors who all care about Ashburton.

What do you find most rewarding about supporting the community?
I enjoy speaking to people and hearing that the work I do is being noticed and appreciated. It’s always rewarding when residents tell me that something I’ve helped with has made a difference, no matter how big or small.

What’s one local event you always look forward to?
I always look forward to the coffee mornings. They’re a lovely opportunity to catch up with familiar faces, meet new people and enjoy a good chat over a cup of coffee.

A fun fact about yourself:
I’m a huge dog lover and have two poodles of my own. Over the years, I seem to have unofficially adopted half the dogs in Ashburton! Many of them know exactly where to find me when they’re out and about and never miss the chance to stop for a cuddle and a fuss.
