Council Role:  Currently Chair of the Finance Committee.  I have previously served as both Ashburton Portreeve and The Master Bailiff.

What do you enjoy most about serving the community? As someone who was born and raised in Ashburton, I am passionate about supporting the town and giving something back to the community that has always been home to me. I enjoy working with fellow councillors and residents to help make positive things happen and to ensure projects and initiatives are delivered for the benefit of everyone.

What is one issue that you would encourage residents to get involved in? I would encourage residents to support and participate in our many community events and organisations. Events such as Ashburton Carnival and the activities of the Royal British Legion bring people together, strengthen community spirit and rely heavily on volunteers and local support. Getting involved is a great way to meet people and help maintain the vibrant character of our town.

A fun fact about yourself: I was honoured to attend the Coronation of King Charles III as the Ashburton Royal British Legion Standard Bearer.
